24 Diner's second location will be in the Rock Rose section of The Domain, beefing up the tenants Endeavor Real Estate Group LLC has signed for its portion of the massive mixed-use development that has become one of North Austin's primary retail hubs.
ELM Restaurant Group said Wednesday it hopes to open the 24-hour eatery in 2017 in 6,000 square feet at 3100 Esperanza Crossing, Suite 100. Andrew Curren will be in charge of culinary operations.
San Antonio-based Lake/Flato Architects will design the space, which will be able to hold about 140 diners plus 40 on the patio.
ELM's other Austin restaurants include Easy Tiger Bake Shop & Beer Garden, Italic and Irene's, all in the downtown area. It is expanding its geographic footprint with the new 24 Diner, plus a new Easy Tiger location at The Linc off I-35. ELM is also developing Fareground, a food hall at One Eleven Congress.
Austin-based Endeavor owns Rock Rose along with Domain Northside, which offer a combined 600,000 square feet of retail space. The Domain Northside website lists 25 restaurants either on the way or already open in the newest section of the mixed-use development, including Hat Creek Burger Co. and Salvation Pizza of Austin.
