AT&T Inc. is among the companies that have leased space in the Lockhart Retail Center.

The Lockhart Retail Center, a 10,000 square foot development by Endeavor Real Estate Group, is around 75 percent leased, the city of Lockhart’s economic development department says.

The retail center was completed in July of 2013 and has two to three spaces still available for retail or restaurant use. The 1906 S. Colorado St. retail center is in a quickly developing area of the city, across from a new Wal-Mart Stores, Inc (NYSE: WMT) location.

Lockhart, a city of around 13,000, sits south of Austin and east of San Marcos. The center has signed on business such as Great Clips, River Rock Dental and AT&T, according to a release from the city. Factory Connection, a retail clothing store, will fill 4,700 free-standing square feet previously occupied by Snap Fitness.

First Lockhart National Bank is developing property in the area as well, according to the release. “Final negotiations are underway and should lead to the announcement of several additional new businesses in the near future,” said Mayor Lew White of Lockhart in a statement.
