Endeavor Real Estate Group picked up accolades for Domain Northside’s commitment to sustainability. Nine buildings at Domain Northside are now rated through Austin Energy Green Building.

The buildings that earned ratings are Rock Rose (three stars); Archer Hotel Austin (two stars); Nordstrom (two stars); Y2 retail building (two stars); D1 and D2 retail with C13 parking garage (two stars); and Y3 and Y4 retail buildings with parking garage (three stars). Three multifamily properties — C9/C11, W2/W3 and Z2/Z3 — each earned two stars. Buildings can earn up to five stars determined by a point system based on design, energy use, water use, environmental quality and materials.

Development agreements with the city require all Domain Northside properties earn either LEED or AEGB certifications, including all multifamily and 600K SF of retail and entertainment venues.

About 70% of the space at Domain Northside is dedicated to local businesses and more than 60% of materials were Texas-sourced, Austin City Council member Debbie Kimberly said.

Sustainable features includes water bottle filling stations, proximity to public transit, recycling, pedestrian-oriented streets and central parking garages.
