As a Principal and Shareholder in Endeavor Real Estate Group (ERG), Chris actively pursues retail development and acquisition opportunities.

Relevant Experience
 
During his 16-year career in the retail development business, Mr. Ellis has developed over 3,750,000 square feet of shopping center space.  In Chris’ eight year tenure at ERG, he has developed 2,350,000 square feet of shopping centers.

In addition, Mr. Ellis was instrumental in Endeavor’s securing of Neiman Marcus and Foley’s (now Macy's) to The Domain (an 800,000 square foot mixed use project in North Austin) and the subsequent joint venture with Simon Property Group.

Prior to joining Endeavor in 2001, Mr. Ellis served as Principal in charge of the Retail Division of the Austin office of Trammel Crow Company (TCC).  In this role, Mr. Ellis successfully developed or redeveloped over 900,000 square feet of retail space.  In addition, he was responsible for the oversight of the 4.5 million square foot retail property management and leasing portfolio.

Prior to joining TCC in 1997, Mr. Ellis worked in the retail development business in San Antonio with The Weitzman Group/Cencor Realty Services.  During his tenure there, he was involved in the development and re-development of over 950,000 square feet of shopping centers.
